Everyone has been a trickster once in their life. Sometimes it's funny but sometimes some pranks or jokes can be cruel and mean. In Raven the Trickster the raven goes out and tricks the DEQ just for the fun of it because he doesn't get nothing from it except a laugh. However I think that the whale getting killed was the raven's fault. The raven calls the whale to shore and that gave time for the Alaskan Natives to spear and kill the whale. When the raven comes out of the whale scaring the Alaskan Natives it was something done to benefit the raven. In the future the raven might get some his own medicine and get tricked. In The Wolf and The Mink there are a few tricks between the mink and the wolf. The Mink tried to trick the fishes into coming closer to him but they didn't fall for it. However the Mink won because he caught  two fishes from the school of fishes. The Mink bragged about having food. He didn't share none of it with the wolf. The mink fell asleep and the wolf ate the fishes. The wolf tricked him by putting the bones of the fish in his mouth. The wolf did this to get back at the mink for not sharing. This whole thing was pay back to the mink.

In American Born Chinese the Monkey King wanted everyone to respect him by the way he looked. The Monkey King went into his cave for a long time and master some power that would make him superior and everyone would have to respect him no matter what. "Everything that goes up most come down." His power wasn't going to last forever. His creator came back to give him a reality check and for him to stop acting like someone he isn't. The Monkey King was born from a rock and he was buried under rocks. This comes to show that you should forget where you come from.
